HOW I SHOOT

I work primarily on location, bringing whatever lighting we need with me. I prefer natural light but am skilled at using lighting to achieve the desired result. My sessions are laid back, and casual. I try to keep the sessions stress free so you can be yourself. Although sessions usually last between 60-90 minutes, I reserve up to three hours to work with you in order to achieve our shared vision for your photos. I can be silly, and usually try to find ways to make sure you're having fun, even if you don't usually like having your picture taken. My goals are to create beautiful and artistic photos, provide excellent service, and to create a fun and memorable experience.

Fresh. Fun. SImple. Modern. I like natural available light but also enjoy the effects I get with off camera lighting. I adore eyes that sparkle and capturing silly moments. I want to get a sense of your personality so I can capture the real you in my images. Whether I’m doing a portrait of a newborn baby or shooting a band performing live, my goal is to capture the personality, energy, and emotions of the moment in my images and to catch your natural expressions without a great deal of posing.
